Noiseler[1] is a bat-like Kaiju that appeared in the TV series, Ultraman 80. He first appeared in episode 7. A space monster with a particular affinity to certain noises, Noiseler became agitated by the sounds of human technology, causing him to become extremely aggressive. Fortunately, Ultraman 80 intervened, and even though he very nearly lost the fight, the sound of his Color Timer finally calmed Noiseler down, and he returned to space peacefully.

Ultraman 80

Noiseler was a space monster that lived during Ultraman 80's time on Earth. The creature first made his presence known when Noiseler flew past Earth when a hiker saw a strange shadow fly over a jet plane. Moments later, the plane was destroyed in an explosion. Meanwhile, Takeshi Yamato was forced to make a group of his students that he formed a band with stop playing, due to disrupting people in the surrounding area. UGM soon learned of this occurrence and set out to figure out what was going on.
Later on, the monster himself descended on the town, attacking a train before UGM opened fire on the bat-like Kaiju. The monster used his echolocation to sense their assaults coming and dodged them. Yamato soon picked up on this and the fact the train's whistle may have attracted Noiseler to the city in the first place. The police and authorities were quick to shut down any major source of noise in the area of Tokyo, hoping the Kaiju would just go away. Soon, the city was completely still and quiet. Without the noise, Noiseler quickly calmed down, but that still left the problem of a giant monster in the city.
As Noiseler slept, a member of UGM snuck up on him with a weapon, but the monster’s echolocation alerted it to the threat. As he leaped up, the surrounding military opened fire on the kaiju, but their weapons were useless, so UGM prepared to try their hand. Noiseler went into a furious rampage, tearing the city apart as they arrived. The same band that Yamato’s students were in began playing nearby, and surprisingly, the noise instantly calmed Noiseler down. He started dancing, giving UGM the chance to attack, but that only enraged the beast further.
When the monster caught them, Noiseler merely wanted them to play their music some more, but Yamato attacked it, causing it to shoot him down. Yamato quickly transformed in Ultraman 80 and kicked the monster to the ground, trying to keep it back, but the monster proved tough. 80 attempted the Straight Flash, but it had no effect at all. He prepared for the Succium Beam, but the monster raised his hand, telling him he didn’t want him to as he planted his feet like a sumo wrestler. 80 did the same and the two grappled, Noiseler pushing him down.
Clapping his hands, Noiseler went back to try to get the kids to play again, but 80 attacked. The monster struck a martial arts pose and the two started fighting again, 80 gaining the upper hand on the creature as his color timer started blinking. Noiseler kept dodging his attacks thanks to his echolocation, and the attacks that did hit were absorbed by the monster‘s durable hide. To 80’s surprise, the monster liked the sound of his timer going off and approached him calmly. 80 realized Noiseler had never wanted any trouble, he’d just wanted to hear sounds he found pleasing, and had ended up being attacked by the military. 80 petted the Kaiju's ears and then took off, leading Noiseler back to space.

- Noiseler suit would later be recycled and modified to create the monster Zarudon.
- Noiseler's roar is a slightly modified Gango roar, while his roars while using echolocation are a sped up Jirahs' roar.
- In episode 41 of Ultraman Mebius, Noiseler was regarded as a Minus Energy Kaiju in document UGM of Crew GUYS's database, despite its debut episode having no real relation to it.
- In 2018, the success of crowdfunding from its Kaiju Girls anime counterpart has led to the creation of a brand new suit. The suit would be reused in Ultra Galaxy Fight: The Absolute Conspiracy.
Ultra Galaxy Fight: The Absolute Conspiracy
Noiseler and Zandrias had suddenly appeared outside of Ayaka City. Ultrawoman Grigio arrived to protect her hometown while her brothers were away to deal with the Devil Splinters. After struggling slightly, Grigio fought well against the two Kaiju, with her firing her Grigio Shot at them, causing the two to flee in fear. The Appearance

- Noiseler appearing alongside Zandrias (both Kaiju coincidentally sharing the same series debut) is a reference to their music video from the Kaiju Girls multimedia, as well as how their characters are known to form a rock band in said media.
- This Noiseler suit was to appear in Ultraman R/B but never did for unknown reasons.
Ultraman Decker
Noiseler as it appears in Ultraman Decker[3].
A Noiseler appeared flying over in the city, fighting Ultraman Decker and Terraphaser. After Ultraman Decker kicked Noiseler mid-air, Terraphaser grasped its neck then Decker kicked it onto its stomach. Later, Decker used his Ultra Dual Sword to utilize the Triple Trigger Scram while Terraphaser fires its TR Mega Buster against Noiseler, eventually destroying the monster. Birth of a Dark God
Trivia
- This is the first time a Noiseler is killed in its on-screen appearance.
- In the opening, Noiseler is seen fighting against Ultraman Decker Miracle Type and gets disoriented by the Decker Magic clones. The actual episode it appeared however has both Decker and Terraphaser as its opponents, including the fact that Decker stays in Flash Type for the entirety of its screentime.
- In a sense of irony, the episode it appeared in was also Decker's first time using Decker Magic, doing so in against the Agams-piloted Terraphaser.
Ultraman Arc

One day, Kazuo Kizaki was speaking on the radio and he picked up a signal of an alien life form named Fio. Noiseler sensed the radio waves transmitted through their conversations and followed the source to Earth, with its presence picked up on the GDF satellites. At the same time, the SKIP noticed that Hoshimoto City had been detecting an abnormal unidentified signal for a few days.
Upon narrowing down the source of the signal, SKIP member Yuma Hize went to investigate, where he reunited with Kazuo. After an awkward reunion and Yuma's departure, Kazuo resumed the conversation with Fio. SKIP later discovered that the frequency of the signals detected from the GDF satellite, which came from Noiseler, matched up with Kazuo’s home, indicating that the Kaiju had likely been attracted to the radio waves. That night, Noiseler landed in Hoshimoto City and began to advance towards Kazuo’s apartment. The GDF launched an immediate attack on the Kaiju, but it retaliated by firing a red beam from its eyes, destroying the incoming attack and letting out a massive roar. In an instant, the surroundings fell silent as the Kaiju fed on the sound waves in the vicinity, and consequently, Kazuo’s connection with Fio was cut off.
To prevent the Kaiju from intervening with Kazuo's and Fio's final conversation, Yuma transformed into Ultraman Arc. Although Arc tried to block Noiseler’s path, the Kaiju emitted a piercing high-frequency beam making it impossible for Arc to get close. SKIP analyzed the situation and hypothesized that Noiseler fed on sound waves and radio waves, which are forms of vibrational energy. This prompted Arc to use this knowledge to distract Noiseler, leading to an aerial battle. In the end, the sound of the Ultra’s Color Timer negatively affected Noiseler and Arc used his Arc Exa Slash to attract the Kaiju and then hurled it into the far reaches of space, directing the Kaiju away from Earth. - Suit actor: Hiroyuki Arai
- Along with its normal roar, Noiseler is given a brand new roar, which is a sped up mix of Zumbolar's roar and a Gango roar. For unknown reasons, the Jirahs roar, which was originally played when Noiseler used its echolocation, was not used here. While reacting negatively to the sound of Ultraman Arc's Color Timer, Hydra screeches are mixed in.
