History

Ultraman

The Planet Q was a new discovery and as a robotic probe looked for useable resources, the camera revealed a gigantic eye looking into the lens. A quick flash followed, blinding those that watched the screen. With a group of astronauts trapped on the nearby V2 Station, the Science Patrol was dispatched. Somehow Keylla's flash had also blinded the men there and damage a BM fuse, an important component for keeping the station operational. With a journey to Earth taking too long the only other source of a replacement part was on Planet Q on the probe. Leaving Fuji to look after the mean, the other four members took of. Upon their arrival, the group passed by a battle between Keylla and Saigo. The monster drove Saigo into full retreat, allowing Keylla to wander the alien world with impunity.

The Science Patrol took a rover from the Shiratori, their shuttle, and continued to the probe to accomplish their mission. Upon reaching the probe Ide and Arashi departed to remove the fuse, but noticed Keylla nearby above the two patrolmen, passively observing them. While Arashi had noticed the monster, Ide did not. When he removed he fuse, Ide began bombastically yelling of his success, ignoring Arashi's urging to lower his voice, even releasing further panicked shouts after he noticed Keylla, and the Kaiju seemed to start softly (for it's size) vocalizing back, inciting the hot-blooded Arashi to open fire on the looming giant, startling and provoking it. When he stopped firing and foolishly claimed he had "got" the monster, Keylla blinded Arashi, leaving Ide to carry him back to the rover. While they made it back to their vehicle, a now angered Keylla again appeared, blocking their path by pushing boulders at them from the mountain top. At Hayata's suggestion they split up. Arashi stayed in the rover, the captain and Ide trekked over the mountains by foot, to get back to the ship and deliver the part, and Hayata stayed and served as a distraction to keep it from attacking the other three. The captain and Ide made it to the ship but so did Keylla, who had followed them. Seeing this, Hayata transformed into Ultraman, narrowly getting there in time to stop the monster from stomping on the ship.

The hero attacked the space insect, pummeling it with a flurry of strikes. After putting Keylla under a dizzy spell by spinning it that had the Kaiju seemingly passed out on a nearby mountain, Ultraman moved in to seemingly continue attacking or move Keylla, flipping it around and allowing it to release a blinding flash that staggered the red and silver giant. Unable to see, Ultraman was met with a brief attack, leaving him pummeled on the ground and unconscious with his Color Timer beeping. Believing itself victorious, the monster turned to leave. Seconds later, his eyesight returned, and Ultraman got up and continued his fight with the monster; first attempting to cleave it with his Ultra Slash, but that was flicked away by its tail. Then he tried his Spacium Beam but its hide was too durable. After dodging another blinding flash, his third attempt caught the alien beast with his Ultra Psychokinesis and lifted it into the air, before tossing it into the distance where it seemed to explode for some reason.

With the monsters gone, Hayata and Arashi where later retrieved after V2 was successfully repaired.
