Final Test (最終テスト, Saishū Tesuto) is the fifty-fifth episode of Ultraman Cosmos.

Plot

The alien girl who infiltrated the Kaburaya Islands turns the harmless monster Mienin into the bio weapon Gamoran. What is the important incident that the girl speaks of? Can humanity pass the ultimate test that has been thrust upon it?

• This episode came out the same day as the movie Ultraman Cosmos 2: The Blue Planet.
• This episode acts as a continuation of both episode 7 "A Gift from the Sky" and episode 44 "Ghighi vs Gon."

• 

  As pointed out by producer Hiroyasu Shibuya, the episode involves three tests: Hiura's test for Musashi, Mitoru's test for humanity, and Sawaguchi's test for Hiura.^[1]
• Mitoru was initially envisioned as older, but director Hirochika Muraishi believed it would be better if the questioner was a "pure child."^[1]
